February’s We Love Local: Girls at Work
For February’s We Love Local, we were honored to support an organization that holds a very special place in our hearts—Girls at Work. This marks our second time donating to this incredible program, and each year we’re inspired all over again by the life-changing work they do for young girls in our community.
This year, we chose to “Sponsor a Girl,” helping cover the full cost of summer camp so a participant can take part in this empowering experience. Girls at Work provides a unique, hands-on environment where girls build projects with power tools, learn new skills, and—most importantly—build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self. It’s about so much more than woodworking; it’s about giving girls the opportunity to discover what they’re capable of and to leave feeling strong, capable, and proud.
Programs like this create ripple effects that last a lifetime, and we’re proud to play a small part in making that possible. Investing in opportunities for young people—especially ones that foster confidence and independence—is something that aligns deeply with who we are as a team and what We Love Local stands for.
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back, we encourage you to learn more about Girls at Work and consider sponsoring a girl, donating, or getting involved. You can read more about their mission and programs here.
We’re grateful to continue supporting an organization that is helping shape strong, confident leaders for the future.
