August’s We Love Local Spotlight: Delta Dental | Elliot Corporate 5K
August’s We Love Local had the GSMS team lacing up our sneakers and joining in on the Delta Dental | Elliot Corporate 5K—and what an incredible day it was! We had a blast participating, connecting with our community, and running (or walking!) for a truly meaningful cause. The energy, camaraderie, and smiles made the event just as special as the reason behind it.
We were even joined by Mike and Regina—Mark’s family and proud GSMS Home Club Members—proving that when we say “in the club we’re all fam,” we mean it! Whether cheering from the sidelines or logging those steps, everyone played a part in making the day unforgettable.
Funds raised through the Delta Dental | Elliot Corporate 5K directly support patient programs at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot. Every single dollar donated goes toward services that make a real difference—nutrition assistance, rehabilitation therapy, integrative medicine, and programs that support patients through their cancer journey. Specialized programs include yoga and meditation, art therapy, journaling classes, game nights for survivors, acupuncture and Reiki, and cooking classes designed to provide healthy meal options during treatment.
