We Love Local April Spotlight: The Webster House
For April’s We Love Local spotlight, the GSMS team had the privilege of creating personalized Easter gift baskets for the children at The Webster House, a trauma-informed residential group home in Manchester, NH. Zak and Gina personally delivered the baskets and were warmly welcomed by Courtney, the Resident Director, who gave them a heartfelt tour of the home and shared inspiring stories about the children and the life-changing work being done within those walls. From thoughtful toys to sweet treats, our goal was to bring a little extra joy and comfort to each child this Easter season.
Founded in 1884 and originally named the Manchester Children’s Home, The Webster House has been a safe haven for at-risk youth for over a century. They provide 24/7 care and intermediate counseling services to children ages 8 to 21 who cannot safely remain in their home or community. Their mission is powerful and deeply important: to offer a supportive and nurturing environment to children facing abuse, neglect, or severe family and community challenges. Beyond meeting basic needs, they work to rebuild confidence, self-esteem, and family connections—helping young people feel safe, valued, and hopeful.
We were humbled by our experience and encourage our community to support this extraordinary organization. Whether you donate, volunteer, or help spread the word, your contribution can help make a lasting impact. Learn more about how you can get involved by visiting www.websterhousenh.org.
