September's We Love Local Spotlight: Supporting the Alzheimer’s Association
For this month’s We Love Local, GSMS proudly supported a cause that is very near and dear to our hearts — the Alzheimer’s Association — in honor of Zak and Jack’s Grammie and Cheryl’s mother. Alzheimer’s has touched many in our GSMS family personally. During our time learning about this cause, we discovered that both Adam and Qwentin had family members affected by the disease, making this month’s focus especially meaningful for our team.
We had the privilege of meeting Kerry and Leah, two incredibly brave women living with Alzheimer’s. Hearing their stories was both inspiring and humbling. They shared how much the Alzheimer’s Association means to them, providing care, resources, and hope during difficult times. Listening to their experiences reminded us why supporting this organization is so important — it truly makes a difference for families and individuals affected by Alzheimer’s.

Honoring Loved Ones, Inspiring Hope
Funds raised through the Alzheimer’s Association help provide 24/7 care and support while also advancing critical research toward treatment and prevention. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting this vital mission. You can watch Kerry and Leah share their stories in this video, or contribute directly through their fundraising pages: Leah’s Page and Kerry’s Page.
By supporting the Alzheimer’s Association, we honor our loved ones and help ensure that families navigating this disease have the care, guidance, and hope they need.
