July's We Love Local: First Act NH
This July, our We Love Local initiative introduced us to two incredible people—Kellie and Evan, the mother-and-son team behind First Act Productions.
From the moment we met them, it was easy to see how passionate they are about creating a place where young people can discover their talents, build confidence, make lasting friendships, and experience the magic of live theater.
First Act Productions welcomes children and teens of all experience levels, offering opportunities to explore acting, singing, dancing, and stage performance in a fun, encouraging environment. Their mission is simple but powerful: to make the performing arts accessible to every child by keeping participation affordable and performances free for audiences.
When Zak and Gina learned about everything Kellie and Evan were building, we knew we wanted to be part of it. Through our We Love Local initiative, GSMS proudly became a Stage Sponsor, helping support the incredible opportunities First Act Productions is creating for local youth.
At GSMS, We Love Local is about investing in organizations that strengthen our community, and First Act Productions is doing exactly that. The skills these young performers gain—confidence, teamwork, communication, and creativity—extend far beyond the stage and will benefit them for years to come.
Meeting Kellie and Evan was an absolute pleasure, and their enthusiasm for helping young performers shine is truly contagious. We can't wait to watch First Act Productions continue to grow and see the impact they'll have on so many local families.
