July's We Love Local: On Belay
This July, our We Love Local initiative introduced us to another incredible organization making a lasting impact on families throughout New Hampshire—On Belay.
Zak and Gina had the pleasure of welcoming Julie to the GSMS office, where she shared a personal presentation about On Belay's mission. From the moment she walked through the door, Julie's warmth, passion, and positive energy were contagious. It was impossible not to be inspired by the work this organization is doing.
On Belay provides free adventure-based programs for children and teens who have or have had a loved one with cancer. Through activities like hiking, climbing, camping, and team-building, participants build confidence, resilience, and meaningful connections with other young people who understand what they're going through. Their mission is to ensure no child faces this journey alone while giving them a chance to simply be kids again.
After learning more about their mission, GSMS was honored to present On Belay with a $500 donation through our We Love Local initiative. Knowing our contribution will help provide these life-changing experiences for local youth made this month's donation especially meaningful. In fact, a $500 gift can sponsor three children to attend an On Belay program.
