June's We Love Local: Celebrating the Manchester Animal Shelter's Mutt Strutt
This June, GSMS was thrilled to once again take part in one of our favorite community events of the year—the annual Mutt Strutt hosted by the Manchester Animal Shelter.
As a long-time volunteer at the shelter, Gina always looks forward to this event, and it's become a tradition that Zak and the GSMS team are proud to support year after year. There's something truly special about spending the day surrounded by fellow animal lovers, local businesses, dedicated volunteers, and, of course, countless happy tails.
This year's event was another huge success! The park was filled with local vendors, delicious food trucks, live music, dog yoga, a dunk tank, family activities, and so many wonderful dogs enjoying the day with their humans. GSMS was excited to sponsor a fun selfie station where attendees could capture memories with their four-legged friends while celebrating a cause close to all of our hearts.
One of the best parts of Mutt Strutt is seeing the community come together to support the Manchester Animal Shelter and the incredible work they do every single day. From caring for homeless animals to finding them loving forever homes, the shelter relies on the generosity of volunteers, donors, and supporters throughout the year.
For Gina, every visit is especially meaningful. Having volunteered at the shelter for many years, it's always a joy to reconnect with the dedicated staff, fellow volunteers, and, of course, spend time with the animals who are patiently waiting for their forever families.
We are honored to continue making Mutt Strutt part of our We Love Local tradition and are already looking forward to next year.
