September’s We Love Local: Supporting the Dion Foundation
Sometimes a We Love Local opportunity comes directly from our community, and this one came to us through a great GSMS client who reached out and asked us to support a cause that is very close to her heart.
This month, we made a $500 donation to sponsor the Walk On 5K Walk/Run/Roll in Exeter, supporting families affected by Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD).
The event supports The Dion Foundation, founded by Brian and Chrissy Bailey after their daughters were diagnosed with LGMD in 2025. Their mission is to raise awareness and critical funding for research, treatments, and hope for families facing this progressive disease.
The Walk On 5K is coming up next weekend, and we encourage anyone who is able to join the Bailey family and community in Exeter. And if you can’t make it to the event, you can still make a difference by donating and helping spread awareness.
