What the scholarship offers
The scholarship honors the legacy of Robert M. Shomphe, a longtime advocate for excellence and integrity in business. There are two tracks:
Trade school scholarship. Five students attending a 2-year community college, certificate program, or trade school will each receive $1,000 toward education-related expenses.

What the scholarship offers
The scholarship honors the legacy of Robert M. Shomphe, a longtime advocate for excellence and integrity in business. There are two tracks:
Trade school scholarship. Five students attending a 2-year community college, certificate program, or trade school will each receive $1,000 toward education-related expenses.
Collegiate scholarship. Three students attending a 4-year college or university will each receive $5,000 toward tuition.
Judging happens in July, and winners will be announced in early August.
Who can apply
The scholarship is open to individuals associated with BBB Accredited Businesses, including their families and employees. That covers a lot of New Hampshire. If you work for an accredited business, or your parent, spouse, or family member does, you may be eligible.

Why we're excited about the trade track
We'll be honest: the trade school scholarship is the one that hits home for us. New Hampshire needs skilled tradespeople. Every winter, we see how much our neighbors depend on the people who keep furnaces running, pipes flowing, and homes safe. Five scholarships aimed specifically at community college, certificate, and trade school students are a real investment in the next generation of hands-on careers.
