Mark Downing - Founder / Service Specialist
Mark started GSMS in 1987 with a single van and a commitment to doing things the right way. While he has transitioned the company to the second generation, Mark’s passion for the trade keeps him in the field every day. You’ll still find him visiting clients, sharing his 39 years of expertise, and ensuring the Downing standard is met on every call.
Zak Downing - Owner
Zak grew up in the trade, holding the flashlight for his father since he was five years old. Today, as Owner, Zak leads the day-to-day operations and the vision for the 'Red Square Finish.' He remains hands-on with our clients, personally designing custom comfort systems to ensure every home gets the perfect solution
Jack Downing - Service Specialist
Continuing the family tradition, Jack brings a high level of technical precision to every home he visits. As a Service Specialist, Jack is a key part of the second-generation era of GSMS, dedicated to technical excellence and the 'Service with a Heart' philosophy.
Adam Phelps - Service Specialist
With 31 years in the HVAC industry and 30 of those at GSMS, Adam brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence to his role as Director of Installation. Drawn to the trades by the diverse opportunities it offers, Adam ensures that every installation is done with future service in mind, making it easier for our technicians down the road. In his free time, Adam enjoys relaxing, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. Guided by the motto “keep on truckin’,” Adam values the good people he works with at GSMS and is proud of the high standards his team maintains in every project.
Quinn Stackpole - Service Specialist
Quinn is a dedicated Installation Specialist who’s been making a difference at GSMS for almost 4 years. Drawn to the trades by his hands-on nature and love for working outdoors, Quinn brings energy and enthusiasm to every job. His commitment to excellence is guided by his motto: “always give 110% from the beginning of the day to the end of the day.”
When he’s not at work, you’ll find Quinn hitting the gym or enjoying a peaceful day of fishing. He values the supportive environment at GSMS, where great people are always willing to help him learn and grow. Quinn’s goal is to ensure that every client experiences top-notch service, as he and his team strive to be the best, well-prepared, and professional.
Gina Zafirakis - Client Experience Specialist
Gina may be relatively new to the HVAC world, but her enthusiasm and commitment shine through every day at GSMS. With a background in beauty and medical fields, she found her way to HVAC and has been a vital part of our team for two years. Gina’s role as a Client Experience Specialist is driven by her passion for providing honest, reliable service and embodying the core values of GSMS.
Outside of work, Gina loves spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved cat and bunny. She’s also a dedicated volunteer at the local animal shelter and finds joy in crafting beautiful wreaths. As the world’s biggest Britney Spears fan, Gina’s positive energy and fun-loving spirit contribute to the supportive, family-oriented culture at GSMS. She’s thrilled to be part of a team that values integrity and care as much as she does.
Qwentin Gauvin - Service Specialist
Qwentin is a dedicated Service Specialist with 2 years in the HVAC industry and a year at GSMS. His hands-on background, honed through working on dirt bikes, drives his enthusiasm for tackling technical challenges and delivering exceptional service. Outside of work, Qwentin stays active by going to the gym and riding dirt bikes.
Qwentin values the supportive and collaborative environment at GSMS, which he considers the best workplace he’s ever experienced. Known for his light-hearted, fun-loving nature, Qwentin is committed to providing high-quality work and treating each client with the care and respect they deserve.
