Manchester, NH - Completed the Rinnai tankless water heater maintenance today. I started off with running a cleaner through it for 40 minutes. Next I flushed 10 gallons of water through it. I cleaned the water inlet screen. I checked incoming gas pressure and that was according to manufacture specifications. I vacuumed out the inside of the unit. I labeled some emergency shut offs as well. I inspected all the drains and fixtures and everything looked great. The only concern that the client had was this sound coming from the water pipes when the upstairs sink is ran. I attached the video to the job.

Completed the oil boiler maintenance today. I replaced the oil filter, pump strainer and gasket and the nozzle. I brushed and vacuumed out the heat exchanger. All of the boiler accessories looked good except for the expansion tank which has failed. Lastly I ran the boiler and performed a smoke test and got zero smoke. I performed a combustion analyzer test that checks the units CO, CO2 and oxygen levels and the boiler was running great. I will send over an estimate to replace the expansion tank.
