Job Locations and Reviews
Replacement of the existing failed "combi boiler" with a new high-efficiency heat-only gas boiler. The existing system will be properly removed and disposed of. The new boiler will be wall-mounted in the same utility room. New venting will be installed to meet the new boiler's requirements, penetrating the exterior of the home for combustion air and exhaust. Instead of tankless hot water, a new 40-gallon indirect tank will be installed. A new water line will be run from the bathroom under the crawlspace to the indirect heater to allow for better hot water performance. Existing zone valves will remain in place, and a new circulator will be installed to provide proper water flow for the heating zone. The direct piping leading to the boiler will be re-done to incorporate primary/secondary piping for the new boiler design. This proposal includes several optional items for your consideration.
