Today I analyzed the boiler in the home. I found the pump neutral wired to L1 on the zone board, I switched that. I noticed that all of the pumps are on the return side, there are no zone valves present. This is what is causing zones to heat up when they aren't supposed to. This is also causing the issue with the first floor heat not feeling as warm, especially the bathroom.

A bunch of stuff looked new as well. I checked incoming and outgoing gas pressures annd everything was inspect. Lastly I ran the unit and I performed a combustion analyzer test, this checks for CO, CO2 and oxygen levels and everything was running great. The client wants to add on another zone for the mudroom. I added pictures to the notes for Zak.

I replace the expansion tank and the pressure relief valve. I set the boiler to 13 psi and matched the expansion tank to 13 psi as well. I ended up having to replace the fill valve and the backflow preventer. The tridicator which reads boiler temperature and pressure ended up failing as well, so that was replaced. The high vent that lets air out of the system failed as well, so that was replaced. I purged all of the air out of the system and all the returns were coming back hot. Everything is up and running good.
